The Association of Theological Schools Reaffirms Accreditation of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary

On June 2, 2020, the Board of Commissioners of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) reaffirmed the accreditation of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary for a period of ten years.

St. John Vianney Theological Seminary is grateful for the continued recognition of the quality of priestly formation and theological education provided through our Master of Divinity program. This reaffirmation reflects the dedication of our faculty, staff, and formators, under the leadership of our Rector, as well as the ongoing support of the Archdiocese of Denver and the contributions of the Cardinal Stafford Library to the educational mission of the seminary.

The Board of Commissioners reaffirmed the accreditation of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary through July 31, 2030, including continued approval of its Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree program. Additional information about the degree, including its Program Goals and Student Learning Objectives, is available in the 2025–2026 SJV Course Catalog (pp. 9–10).

ATS accredits more than 250 graduate schools of theology and seminaries in the United States and Canada and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
