The highlight of the year for Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary and Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary is the ordinations to the priesthood.
For seven years, the seminarians have been working to be faithful disciples of the Lord and to configure their hearts to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Good Shepherd and High Priest of the New Covenant.
In this task, they have been closely accompanied by their formators and the faculty and staff of our seminaries. Their hearts are now ready and open to receive the great gift of the priesthood.
We rejoice in the ordination of five of our brothers who will be ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila on May 16 at 10 a.m.
Due to the exceptional circumstances of COVID-19, the ceremony will not be open to the public. However, a private ceremony will be live-streamed. You are invited to join us in prayer.

The ordinations will be an occasion of great joy for the whole Church but especially for the Church in Northern Colorado. These new priests will go forth to preach the Gospel in the parishes of our Archdiocese.
